A Change Agent is a person who leads by example and as a result enhances service, performance, and productivity in self and others. Change Agent Leaders create positive change because they recognize that they are willing to demonstrate their leadership and lead by example, rather than through proclamation.
The Change Agent Philosophy is founded on 3 Pillars of Change Agent LeadershipTM:
Every individual on earth can be a Change Agent because it is Universal in nature. Anyone can thrive as a Change Agent as it is grounded in the belief that every person can improve their life and live up to their inner potential. The purpose of a Change Agent is to improve the quality of life, and as a result, create positive change. As a result of embracing the choice to succeed as a Change Agent, the lives of others improve as well because people are exposed to positive actions.
Examples of Personal Change Agents:
Too often, organizations lead with Change Agents at the top of the organization (Closed System of Leadership) and they attempt to empower positive change in others. The Change Agent LeadershipTM System involves creating frontline Change Agents (Open System of Leadership) where all individuals become Change Agents and therefore create an organization that thrives.
In an Open System, if a Leader at the top of the organization leaves due to retirement, transfer, or promotion, the organization continues to thrive because leadership capacity has been created through the empowerment of all Change Agents. In a Closed System, when the Leader at the top of the organization leaves, the organization can lack harmony and continuity, and positive change can be difficult to sustain.
